Extensive mountain ranges cover the Antarctica region. As they slope down towards the ocean, large snow cliffs along the water's edge are typical. As you can see from this photograph, the cliffs look relatively small but don't be fooled. The ice and snow cliffs are hundreds of feet high.
The lighting is inspiring, with the blowing snow creating an atmospheric fog-like mist. The sun is making a sunbeam, lighting up the edge of the icy cliff in Antarctica.
