Everywhere you travel in Iceland, the landscape is rugged. I love to photograph abandoned buildings, and Iceland did not disappoint. Here we have three old wooden buildings on a hillside. There are two old wooden shacks in the foreground and one destroyed barn-like structure in the background. The clouds are dark and ominous. The ancient stone wall acts as a leading line to the wood shacks with a decayed aluminum roof. In the background, you can see a slightly snow-covered mountain.
